Do you see patients in-person or via tele-health?

Dr. Sones offers both in-person and tele-health (telepsych) appointments. Tele-health appointments are conducted via Zoom video visits using HIPAA-compliant Zoom Pro. A link to your video visit will be provided at the time of scheduling.

Do you accept medical insurance?

Dr. Sones is an out-of-network provider and is not currently empaneled with any health insurance companies. Following the appointment, an invoice (“superbill”) will be provided, which can be submitted to your insurance company for reimbursement for a portion of the cost of your visit.

What is your cancellation policy?

Appointments must be cancelled or rescheduled one business day (24 business hours prior to the start of the appointment) or the patient will be charged the entire fee of the visit.

What are your fees?

• Initial intake appointment (60 minutes): $600

• Follow up visit (25 minutes): $300

• Therapy visit (50 minutes): $600
  

Do I have to switch if I already have a therapist?

No, you should keep your therapist if you have a good working relationship with them. Dr. Sones can provide medication management alone, psychotherapy alone, or a combination of the two depending on each patient’s individualized needs.
